All beverages must be purchased from the Bucyrus Club. We do not permit you to carry in your own beverages under any circumstances. The package prices are per guest.

GENERAL BEVERAGE INFORMATION
We want you to know that we take our beverage service and your beverage enjoyment very seriously at the Bucyrus Club. We will help you to tailor the beverage set up that best fits your exact desires and needs. You will experience knowledgeable, fun, friendly, licensed, and helpful bar service. When you sign the contract for your event you are in agreement with us that our bartenders and supervisors have the right to refuse service to any guest that we deem underage and cannot produce a legal ID or any guest who appears intoxicated or uncooperative. We want you to have fun, but not at the expense of other guest’s safety and enjoyment.
Bartenders are included in the price of your wedding or bar package. For hosted bars based on consumption, tickets, or cash bars there will be a $20.00 per hour bartender charge for each bartender. We require one bartender per 75 guests for efficient service.
Our standard service charge and sales tax will be applied to all hosted bar packages. All cash bars must attain a $400.00 minimum per bar set-up. You will be invoiced for the difference if you do not meet the minimum.
In the rare case of that we run out of a product during your event, we will replace it with an equal or higher value product.
While glassware will be provided for your beverage packages, we reserve the right to use disposable ware under special circumstances, outdoor events, and last calls.
Our bartenders rely on tips for their livelihood and therefore there will be thoughtfully placed tip jars at each bar. Bartenders really appreciate the gesture. If there is an issue with this policy, please let us know in advance.
ALCHOHOL / BEVERAGES
We take responsible drinking seriously at the Bucyrus Club Event Center. The Bucyrus Club Event Center is required to abide by the state, county, and local ordinances from which we hold our licenses. It is our sincere hope that you will also honor these policies and procedures so that every guest can enjoy themselves while we service your beverages responsibly. The following rules will be enforced.
- No persons under the age of 21 will be served or permitted to drink alcoholic beverages
- Should the age of a guest be in question, proper identification will be required. Any individual, including members of the wedding party, unable to produce a valid ID will not be served any alcoholic beverages. Acceptable ID’s are an official state driver’s license, official Wisconsin ID, passport, or official military ID.
- Any individual under the age of 21 unable to provide a valid ID that is found in possession of an alcoholic beverage will be immediately asked to call for a safe ride and leave the premises. Any individual ordering or providing alcoholic beverages to any individual under the age of 21 will be immediately escorted from the premises and asked to call for a safe ride.
- Absolutely no alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages will be brought into the Bucyrus Club and Event Center from outside sources and consumed on our premises
- All alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be purchased through the Bucyrus Club Event Center
- Bartenders and supervisors reserve the right to refuse service to anyone without proper ID, anyone who seems intoxicated, or anyone who is combative and unruly.
- Last call will be given 30 minutes prior to your contractual end time, and the bar will close 15 minutes before the contractual end time.
- We will use disposable glassware for last call.
- Our bartenders will put out a discreet tip jar on each bar as they depend on tips to make a living. If you prefer for us not to do this, we will assess a $25 per hour per bartender as a gratuity on your final invoice.
- Alcohol for hosted bars will not be delivered to the tables. Guests must come to each bar to receive their drinks.
- Under no circumstances will “shots” be distributed or allowed during receptions or events. Our bartenders will not pour “doubles” during receptions or events.
- Events will be staffed at one bartender per 75 guests. If you would like more than that, each extra bartender will be billed at $100.00 per shift, maximum 4 hours.
