The Bucyrus Club & Event Center is conveniently located in downtown South Milwaukee, minutes from downtown Milwaukee. Paying homage to the Bucyrus Erie Executive Club established in 1920, we offer beautiful spaces for events big and small, personal and timely service from an experienced and passionate team, and freshly prepared food of uncompromising quality – at a competitive price.
We are also home to the Founder’s Room restaurant, open weekdays for breakfast and lunch.
From the ceremony to the reception and everything in between, we love hosting weddings at the Bucyrus Club! Whether you choose one of our “Wedding Reception Packages” to fit your budget or allow us to go off the script and create a customized wedding day party – including options at the amazing Bucyrus Museum upstairs – we know that you will be very pleased with your special day at our special venue.
Big or small, we want to host your next event. Weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, quinceaneras, employee parties, charity galas, awards dinners, club meetings, holiday parties, funerals, even a trade show … whatever it is, we promise to make your next event truly special at our versatile venue. Contact us and schedule a tour today. Or take our online tour.
The Founder’s Room restaurant, open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., serves a full menu of homemade soups, generous deli sandwiches (both hot and cold), salads and beverages. To-go orders are available. We also offer a popular Friday night fish fry during Lent and special reservation-only themed dinners throughout the year. And the space is available for event rentals, too!
History flows throughout our beautifully appointed venue. The shovels that dug the Panama Canal were built here. Later, as the Employee Club, it hosted the extended Bucyrus family for generations of employee lunches, special events and community gatherings. The building reopened in 2021, completely renovated by CG Schmidt, with an award-winning design by Zimmerman Architectural Studios, and boasting an authentic story that comes through at every turn, from the original Cream City brick and woodworking to its local historical displays and the Bucyrus Museum upstairs.
