Open Weekdays for Breakfast and Lunch

The Founder’s Room restaurant in the beautifully restored Bucyrus Club pays homage to the original Founder’s Room of 1920.  Our active dine-in or carry-out resaurant is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. and serves a full menu of homemade soups, generous deli sandwiches (both hot and cold), salads and beverages, with a multitude of gluten-free options.

We are open on Friday nights during Lent for our very popular fish fry and other delicious menu items. 

Come join us and experience great food and a great atmosphere in this hidden gem we call the Founder’s Room.

Our Gourmet Fish Fries

We are excited to offer special Friday night fish fries around and during Lent.

  • 2026 fish fry dates: February 6-April 10

This is not your ordinary fish fry! From tasty appetizers to hearty main dishes and unique sides to house-made ice cream for dessert, the Bucyrus Club fish fry raises the bar on a Wisconsin tradition. And check back to see what Chef Connor and his team have on special that week. 

Reservations are highly recommended, and takeout is available. We serve from 4 to 8 p.m.

WEEKLY SPECIALS: FEBRUARY 13

Appetizer: Fried calamari tossed in garlic butter, served with a lemon wedge and cocktail sauce

Entrees: Brown butter flounder with lemon caper cream sauce, served with roasted red potatoes and sauteed green beans AND pan-seared Scottish salmon with dijon cream sauce, served with mushroom risotto and sauteed spinach

Dessert: Housemade ice cream — Chocolate Lovers Dream. Chocolate ice cream with chunks of Nestle Crunch Bars mixed in, topped with chocolate sauce and Coco Puffs cereal
