Founder’s Room

The Founder’s Room restaurant in the beautifully restored Bucyrus Club pays homage to the original Founder’s Room of 1920.  Our active dine-in deli is open Monday through Friday from 7 am until 2 pm and serves a full menu of homemade soups, generous deli sandwiches (both hot and cold), salads & beverages.  We are open on Friday nights during Lent, for our very popular fish fry and other delicious menu items.  We offer dine-in and carry-out.  Our hours for the fish fry are from 4 pm until 8 pm and we recommend calling so we can reserve a table for you (414-294-4816). Come join us and experience great food and a great atmosphere in this hidden gem we call the Founder’s Room.

Week of February 3rd: Laded Tater Tot Bowl
* Your choice of a Chili Cheese Tater Tot Bowl or a Loaded Nacho Tater Tot Bowl. Fried golden brown tater tots topped with either our homemade chili and shredded cheese or taco beef and supreme nacho toppings!

Week of February 10th: Chicken Alfredo Dip
* A fun Italian take on a french dip sandwich. Breaded chicken, parmesan cheese, and pesto on a toasted steak roll with a side of alfredo sauce to dip it in!

Week of February 17th: Maple Buttermilk Pancake Breakfast Sandwich
* Scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, and your choice of bacon, sausage or ham between two maple buttermilk pancakes!

Week of February 24th: Prime Rip Surf ‘n’ Turf Sandwich
* Thin sliced prime rib, garlic butter sauteed shrimp, sauteed mushrooms, and caramelized onions on a toasted steak roll!
